New things to try this cycle and other whines...

Well, since Aunt Flo reared her ugly head once again on time, here we go on to the next cycle... cycle #14.

We are making sure we are temping every day, to contiue on with charting.

We've added more vitamins... now I am taking Evening Primrose Oil and Black Cohosh the first part of my cycle (pre-O) plus, zinc, pre-natals, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Cod Liver Oil, and Vitamin C. DH is taking a multi-vitamin, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Black Cohosh, and zinc.

We're also going to try using the Instead Cups (the poor man's version of the Conception Cap) later this week. We'll see how that goes?

At this point, it feels like TTC has completely taken over.

On to regular life... we found a kitten hidden underneath our car last week, so I guess our brood is growing - no one has claimed her. (what's one more cat, right? LOL)

Still waiting to find out if DH was accepted to a class or not so he can apply for a better job, which we desperately need the higher paycheck before we drown in our debt. Credit cards hurt. Which, I am well aware, we'd have been in serious trouble without them (read: completely homeless); however, we're still in serious trouble with them, although we haven't used either of them since November (yes, I am patting myself on the back for that one. TG I have learned how to cook more frugaly!)

Wallowing in my TTC misery & chores....

On all the message boards I frequent, it seems everyone else is getting pregnant but me... all I want to do is cry, and then I get frustrated with my wasting energy on crying. My BBT has been up and down in a see saw movement and I am wondering if the new thermometer I got (not even 2 weeks ago) is ready to give up on me already. Aunt Flo is due to arrive on Sunday, so if she doesn't show by Monday I will take a test. I am tired of wasting money on tests only to see a BFN (after 13 months it is beginning to add up), so no longer will I test before she is due.

To better things: Dinner is almost ready, with everything homemade. I made onion diced potatoes with a spicy crusted chicken breast, and honey biscuits. Yummy!

We have been working on our Spring Cleaning, and we purchased another book shelf for all our books and movies. We still need several more, but that will come. It is nice to see this place slowly look more lived in rather than resembling more of a storage facility/poor dorm room. ;) Tomorrow I have more cleaning to do, as my family will be visiting in the afternoon. I don't like to have our place in a disarray when we have company, so I will get up after I take my temp for my BBT at 7 AM and clean.

Frustrated, depressed, and a few words of advice...

A note to those currently not trying to conceive, but know someone who is:

Don't ever EVER tell us to relax and it will happen. Seriously. It only makes us want to rip your jugular out. We're relaxed, really. Hey, we're probably having sex more in one month than you are all year - so we're relaxed! The baby dancing is great!

And don't ever tell us that you've heard once you stop trying, it'll happen.

Want to know why? Because first of all, once you start temping, watching for fertile signs, it's kind of hard to ignore your body. I mean, sure, we can ignore the thermometer for a few months... but once you start keeping track of your body, particularly cervical mucus.. it's a little hard to ignore that fact when you use the loo.
