Shopping Deals Today
I wasn't so thrilled with my deals today. I actually went to a different Albertson's, and I think they had a lot of different prices on regular items than the one I have been going to. :( Bummer!
So here's the (boring) rundown on today:
I got another free bag of Flat Earth chips from the Subway Get Smart instant win game from two days ago. And even better, last night I won the movie ticket!
Rite Aid:
*Oxy Shave Face Wash $5.99 minus $1 MC found in this month's Woman's Day mag PLUS Rite Aid's free after rebate this month = FREE + overage to cover sales tax!
Albertsons:
*Barilla Piccolini pasta (x3) minus $1 off 3 printable coupon
*Kraft mayo w/olive oil $2.50 minus $1 peelie found on container (not a great deal, but we need it)
*Wishbone Bountifuls dressings $2 minus $1 internet printable (coupons.com)
*Sobe No Fear energy drink $1.50 minus $1 tear pad coupon
*Albertsons 12pk soda (x3, for 4th of July) $1.25 each
Total after coupons: $8.75
Wal*Mart (my best deals today):
*Kotex liners $1 minus $1 internet printable
*Johnson's buddies soap $0.94 minus $1 MC(can usethis printable one too)
*Vlassic Relish $1.08 minus $1 internet PDF coupon
Total after coupons: $0.18! (yeah!)
Fred Meyer #1:
*Glen Muir organic tomato paste $1.18 minus $1 internet printable (coupons.com)
Total after coupon $0.18
Fred Meyer #2:
*Cottonelle 4pk $0.99 minus $0.25 SC
*Huggies Clean Team mitts $1.99 minus $1 MC
*Oscar Mayer bacon $2.50 minus $1 MC
*Calidad Tortilla Chips (x2) $1 (no coupon, but great 4th of July deal!)
*DiGiornio Singles Pizza $3.09 minus FREE MC
*Kraft Singles 2% hormone free $4.49 minus FREE MC
*Santa Cruz Organic Strawberry Lemonade $0.99 minus $0.75 MC
*Tray of markdown steak for DH to grill for dinner $2.08
*Liquid Plummer $4.19 minus $0.55 peelie coupon (my kitchen drain keeps having issues and my usual baking soda/vinegar doesn't seem to work)
Total after coupons: $11.78
I was actually surprised that the clerk at WalMart took the Vlassic coupon. I can only print in B&W (the new color cartridge I installed when I got it last year never worked and I don't want to waste more money on another cartridge if the printer just doesn't want to print in color), and the coupon wouldn't scan. I was prepared to go ahead and just pay the $1.08 but the clerk punched it in somehow (thank you to her!) and it went through.
I did two transactions at Fred Meyers because it was the first time I have actually used internent printables at this location, and I was trying to see the reaction to them. I didn't want to go in there with a huge pile one day and be turned down. Again, I'm not overly thrilled with today's haul, but we needed to return a DVD series to the library so it was a neccessary trip. I still have a few things I'd like to purchase at Rite Aid this week so hopefully Saturday I can go back out.
