DH had to go into a meeting at work today, so we tagged along. It was the Pudgy Princess's birthday, so we took her to no less than 4 different pet stores. Plenty of cookies for her, so she's happily digesting them out cold. We all also had a nice walk around the harbor.
Spotted at our local Petco: a table full of *10 cent* items. Some of it was things I would personally stay away from (consumable items that looked a little on the older side) but they also had some adorable collars, cat toys, and other assorted items that are great for fellow pet owners mostly cat, dog, and fish.
I quickly ran into Target to take advantage of this deal: the Old Spice red zone body wash with a bonus travel size deodorant is clearanced to $1.50. If you recently received the WalMart sample, it came with a $1 off coupon! Total with tax is $0.63 here!
Here's my Costco purchases:
1lb organic greens $3.79
40lb Scoop Away cat litter $10.69
4lbs bananas $1.76
giant box of orange chicken $11.99 (I'll get several meals out of this one)
chicken jerky for the dog $15.99 (birthday present, lol, it'll last awhile.. I hope!)
Total: $46.46
Costco always gives me heart attack when I get my total, because it seems like so little for so such a high amount. (I hate not being able to use coupons!)
