While I totally understand "adverse weather conditions" as an exemption for a delivery - after all, we had a serious snowstorm last month, followed by an annoying smaller snowstorm, followed by a lovely episode of flooding and being cut off from the rest of the world - that is not a valid excuse when you just dropped off another package at my house this afternoon. Why don't you just admit: your driver forgot to hand over this package? (the package was listed out for delivery this AM for anyone thinking I'm a little psychotic here)
Go figure, DH gets a package, and here I am waiting for fun stuff!
Oh parcel sagas!! I dislike waiting for small ones, which are delivered by the postman rather than a man in a van (I think our postal systems are different).... my last parcel, for my baby's first birthday, well the postman stood all aquiver on the step..... he knew I'd give him a piece of my mind because it had blatantly been opened. Grrr. They're known for sneaking the gift cards out of birthday cards around here... the buggeroos.
ReplyDeleteI hope your package comes soon!
I certainly don't think your psychotic. I have had my UPS and downs with packages too. Where the tracking says one thing, but the actual delivery occurred entirely differently. Your not alone.
ReplyDeleteI had a similiar experience with FedEx right before Christmas. They delivered my package to a neighbors because it started snowing and she was rushing. I was home the whole time and I could not leave my kids, and since we just moved here I didn't know the neighbors. I called FedEx and made them make the driver come back and properly deliver it to me. She was embarressed!
