OK, this is the COOLEST product for us Moms. We already feel like we should have three or four arms just to get anything done, right? The Baby Dipper Bowl is a non-slip feeding bowl with a specially designed spoon so you can actually feed your little one with one hand.
I was a little skeptical the first time I heard the Baby Dipper was non-slip. I was reading another Mom blog where it was being talked about, and I hadn't seen a picture yet. My first thought was that it had one of those ugly rubber rings that stuck to the tray of the high chair. Can you say EW? Luckily I kept reading and saw the picture. I met Barbara, mom of two sets of twins (yes, two sets!) and inventer of the Baby Dipper on Twitter, and when she asked if I wanted to review the Baby Dipper, I was excited!
The Baby Dipper is a triangular shape, and has a non slip bottom to it, so it won't skid all over the place. It is also transparent, so you can see how much food is left in it if your little one is feeding herself.
The curving of the spoon allows you to put it down against the bowl without it flicking food all over the place, or worse yet, falling off the high chair or table onto the floor (towards the eager pets if it's my house! lol) The spoon fits perfectly into the corner - which slopes down to one point, so you don't have to slide the spoon all over the bowl to fill it! You won't have to pick the bowl up to get the last few spoonfuls.
Now, we don't really use the microwave around here - in fact, it's unplugged on top of the fridge right now - but this bowl is microwave safe. You could simply place plastic wrap on top of any leftovers and re-warm it easily in the Baby Dipper (less dishes! just don't forget to let it cool!!!)
It holds 4 ounces, so it's just the perfect size for a jar of baby food, or a couple of defrosted cubes of homemade food. It's also a good investment in that it can grow with your child - you don't need to just use it for feeding an infant. This is perfect for a toddler to learn to use how to feed themselves with!
The only catch is that it's not dishwasher safe. That's not a problem around here, but I know some folks like the convenience. (But you'd have to have at least 2 sets of the Baby Dipper if you only run your dishwasher once a day, so look at it that way?)

Well that's just genius! I've had the same struggles she has. I don't have twins, but my boys are just 13 months apart so I was always trying to do 5 things at once. Man would this make my life easier with the next baby!

I love that they say that you don't have to chase around the bowl and the bowl around the table.
And no, I didn't find anything particularly lovely at the thrift that day. I know that I found a book, hubs a pair of pants, but I can't recall what else. Definitely not worth the 133.00 that it cost for me to have the tire replaced.

This bowl would not only be great for my 8 month old, but also for adults with limited mobility. Both for feeding themselves and others! The plain blue isn't too "babyish" though the spoon may have to be different.

One thing I like is how it grows with the child; my son is 11 months and in that stage where he's wanting to feed himself more and more - this looks like something wonderful he could learn on!

I think it's great that the spoon fits into the corner of the bowl. I think it's odd that they list as a "plus" the fact that the "bowl is transparent for easy viewing of food". Can't I just see the food from the great big open top of the bowl?? Anyway, thanks for the giveaway!

What a great looking invention. My almost 15 month old son likes to take the spoon out of my hand to try to feed himself. Getting too independent for my own good. Anyways, this looks like it would be a great tool to help him learn to feed himself.

I love this product! reallY!! How wonderful it is to be able to feed the baby with one hand while Im reading to the other or whatever I like that this has a non skid bottom and that the inside is slanted so that the food easily gets on the spoon. I also like the the sides are clear so you can see when the food is almost gone.
Oh just one thing? There are so many things I like about them. The main thing I like is the no slip bottom.
