Country Bob's was started back in 1968 when Country Bob Edson created his All Purpose Sauce. By 1977, he decided to turn his addicting sauce into a business. Today, there's several more additions to the Country Bob line, but this review is all about the All Purpose Sauce. ;)
DH comes a family of BBQers. Seriously, my in laws take any excuse to throw a BBQ (it's a Texas thing) and my DH takes grilling VERY seriously. Since when I hear all purpose sauce I think of steaks, I let him pick out a couple of fresh steaks at the store for us to try Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce on first. He marinated them a few hours before grilling it inside on our indoor grill.
The steak melted in our mouths. DH said he wished he had bought more steaks so he could have had seconds!
My second go at using Country Bob's was in a meatball recipe, posted on here earlier. I ended up turning them into meatball subs. Again, we really enjoyed the way it turned out with the sauce!
It also makes a great dip for your steak fries (and other such goodies)
Now you can purchase all of Country Bob's sauces, as well as a cookbook full of recipes using Country Bob products online, or you can visit here and check out what stores in your area carry them. (WA people: we're stuck ordering online. No one carries them. You can ask your favorite grocery store to carry Country Bob's though - maybe if enough of us ask Fred Meyer, they will!)
Win it! The great folks at Country Bob's are graciously letting me give away two bottles of their All Purpose Sauce to two of my lucky readers! To enter, pop on over to Country Bob's recipe section and pick out which recipe you'd like to try first if you win. Pretty please, give us more than one or two words with your entry - if you just put down "steak" for instance, you'll make me want to turn you into a toad! ;)
Because I'm a little psychotic as you know, I'll give anyone FIVE extra entries if they A) go to their local store that carries Country Bob's and take a picture of themselves with a bottle of All Purpose Sauce or B) takes a picture of themselves with their request for their local grocery store to carry Country Bob's (most stores have a comment card located at their customer service desk for asking for new products) and post those pictures on their blog with a link to this blog and Country Bob's. (Hey, it makes things interesting!)
Of course, the usual extra entries apply:
*blog about this giveaway with a link to my blog
*Stumble, Digg, Kirtsy etc this blog with a review (leave your username, I do check!)
*Follow this blog, subscribe to the feed, or add it to your Technorati favs.
This ends next Monday night, March 2nd, at 11:59 PM PST. Alas, US only as I am not doing the shipping. Good luck! :)

I hope I got the recipe name right. I'd be interested in trying the Ham and Pineapple Upside Down Loaf. It sounds kind of funky, but I'm always looking for something different. We get so bored of the same old thing. Since we've cut out eating at restaurants I've got to find ways to get more creative. I actually think my family would like this.
Thanks!
The only store that sells these sauces is located 50 miles away...dern.
I'd like to make the baked beans with Country Bob's.
