Spammers, Be Gone!
I love comments on my blog! Like I've said in past posts, it helps me to know I am not talking to myself. ;)
But lately it seems more and more I am getting online and having to delete comments made by private profiles (of course) directing towards bad websites full of spyware and viruses, and today's beauty about religion. Seriously, that's not what I want to log on to. I guess as my blog grows and gets a following, they think they can get their message out by hitting my blog. I will delete them as soon as I see them. I fear someone getting a virus as a result of clicking on one of those links. :(
I do realize the spammers aren't going to read this post, but I wanted to write it anyways just in case someone goes to post something and it suddenly says it's moderated. I dislike moderating comments, I really do. First of all, some days it takes me forever to get back to approving them and the comment may be time sensitive. And maybe another poster can answer the question faster (and way better!) than me. Plus, on some of these deals, I know you can post and let people know it's over before I find out it's over. And most of all, when I have giveaways (which I have a bunch coming up) it's a serious pain in the rear to moderate 300 plus entries. Yeeaccch.
And to the religious ranter this morning if you're so inclined to check back: Bite me! Seriously. My blog is not church sponsored. The beauty of this wonderful country most of my readers live in is that we can choose to believe in whatever form of religion we want, be it whether we are Catholic, LDS, Baptist, Buddhist, Wiccan, or even if you believe Ronald McDonald is the head of your religion. I will not have comments on my blog force feeding a certain religious belief down another readers throat!

Don't forget Xenu! LOL
At least you don't get the Viagra ones. I keep getting the same person or spam bot every month leaving this five paragraph long comment about it on a post I did about cutting craft foam smoothly. I guess the bot or the person is picking up on the word foam and assuming it's some other type of foam. It annoys me to no end. I even posted a response saying, "Stop it!", but someone else told me it wouldn't do any good if it was a spam bot. At least I tried.
Darn it! I knew I'd forget an important one, Steph! LOL
No Viagra ones here, yet! I'm sure they'll start up soon now that we are talking about it, LOL
Bad spammers, bad!
