I Confess...
I can't believe I am confessing this, but, hey it IS a confession blog. Here's your official warning to stop reading now if you want to:
Last night DH and I were playing around before bed. (Get your mind out of the gutter! We were just messing around this time! I was too darn tired to do anything else!)
My asthma always kicks in whenever I laugh. (It's the worst thing in the world. Seriously, we went to go see Carlos Mencia last year and I was trying not to laugh the whole show - talk about a damper!) DH really made me laugh... I started coughing... and in turn, as usual, my coughing makes me throw up.
Yup, I threw up all over the place - including on DH. Usually I can hold it down enough to make it to the bathroom - not this time. I would have donned my horrified look if I wasn't too busy retching my way to the loo.
Sigh - good thing I am married to the poor man, or he would have run away!
I'm definitely NOT bringing sexy back.

Poor DH and poor you! I have asthma and when I laugh too hard my lungs close up too. I don't throw up but, I sure can't breathe.

I feel for you you poor thing! I was raised with heavy cigarette smokers and had asthma as a teenager because of it. I would go for months at a time where I couldn't laugh without getting into a coughing fit that I couldn't get out of. I grew out of that when I left all the cigarette smokers behind.
Hahahahah! I am laughing because I can picture that happening to me! I've been known to laugh myself into such a fit of hysteria that I begin uncontrollably sobbing and hiccuping, and I get the feeling you know just what I'm talking about. Sorry to hear about the asthma though, that's a bummer! Also, I would love to be a featured shop on your blog! Just let me know what I need to do if anything.
Oh, funny! Ooops--I'm laughing WITH you, not at you!
Ahh, the old vomit on your husband night. Hey I did that after I had my first son, but it wasn't because of asthma, which I don't have. It was my birthday 6 months after delivery and you know that feeling you get when you know you should stop drinking??...well, my body chemistry had changed and I didn't get that feeling...so after 3 drinks...yes, 3 drinks!...I was upstairs vomiting on my husband and two friends...wasn't pretty. And on my birthday! Yeah, I remember the party raging on downstairs for awhile and by the time I got up and cleaned up the mess ALL OVER THE BED...I stumbled downstairs to see my husband slam the door on the last guest. Felt like an idiot...didn't bring sexy back that day either!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry!
You know that there are some really great asthma drugs out there now like Advair that pretty much can keep you from having the daily asthma symptoms. For me it has been a lifesaver with breathing!!

Oh, I'm sorry you are suffering from asthma.
Don't feel bad. I'm prone to vomiting myself. You wouldn't believe the places I've vomited before!
Oh no, you poor girl! Good thing you have a great guy who can look past things like that!
HA! Confess away, girl. It's an entertaining read!
Wow you poor thing so sorry that happened
I'm horrified for you! When I was in college, I was diagnosed with asthma for the first time. SInce then, I had a child with asthma, and we've been round and round with what works.
I encourage you to look into a steroid inhalent, like Advair, and Singulair, a pill that helps with allergy/asthma, too. You should get this nipped in the bud, so you can enjoy messing around, and light-hearted stuff, and comedy clubs!
Good Luck!
