1 box of cake mix
1/2 cup chocolate chips or raisins (or any other choice, you can add more if you'd like to)
1/4 cup of oil (or half a cup of applesauce)
2 eggs
1/4 cup of water
Add the cake mix into a large mixing bowl. (I'm using white as it's the one closest to the date, but you can use any flavor including chocolate, even strawberry)
Add the eggs and oil.
Next, add the chocolate chips/fun additions (I also added coconut flakes as this was a clean out the cabinets treat for us) and water.
Mix everything together thoroughly (helpers come in handy for this part *wink*)
Place on a well greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
Let them sit out of the oven for two minutes then place on wire racks to cool.
Hint: Have a white mix like mine and want to make the mix silly for the kids? Add a box of flavored jello to the mix. Lime makes great green Alien cookies! Strawberry or cherry makes great Ladybug tea party cookies - especially with the chocolate chips!

Oh my! I can't wait to show my junior chef this! We are so going to make this Friday night! I have way too many boxes of Chocolate cake mix, so we'll be doing Chocolate. The kids have been complaining because we were out of brownies and have no frosting for the cake, this is perfect!
This looks great! I have about 6 or 7 cake mix boxes that I got super cheap a few months ago.
I printed your directions and we'll definitely make these soon. My 3 year old looooves to help make cookies, of course!
Thanks so much for sharing!

We made Chocolate Chocolate Chip cookies from Double Chocolate Fudge Cake mix Friday night. They were sooooo good! Thanks for the recipe. It was so easy my teenagers made them by themselves.
