Review & Giveaway: ChicBuds

When I was a kid, I went every where with my walkman and headphones. It continued on into college, and beyond, when I would walk to work or take the bus, I had my headphones on. I was so excited when the Ipods came out - I didn't have to lug around CDs (or cassettes... I am showing my age there!) and it was so much easier when I was traveling! Nowadays, I still have my Ipod glued to my ears, just not as loud. ;)

I remember getting annoyed years back when I bought that first Ipod and all I could find were very boring plain white ear buds. They so didn't match me!

So you can imagine my glee when I first saw chicBuds!


ChicBuds are decorated ear bud style headphones. They are compatible with pretty much everything that uses a standard ear phone jack, even your laptop, so you don't have to have an Ipod branded MP3 player to use them.

What I LOVE is that chicBuds have a built-in retractor so that the cords will not tangle. I cannot tell you how many times I have been frustrated at the cords of my other headphones being tangled in my purse or backpack. There are also 5 stopping points so you can adjust the length if you want to attach them to an armband or the inside of your jacket. Even better? They have a clip so you can easily find them in your bag, and to stop them from bouncing around! This makes them great for working out, traveling, or just every day use.

All of the chicBuds have nearly 100 Swarovski crystal pieces! That's a lot of shimmer! Mine are the black/marshmellow, which goes perfect with my silver ipod! (I have a thing for silver if you didn't already know) They arrive in a cute little cloth bag, perfect for gift giving.




You can see in the last photo that it's clipped to my purse (that seems to make a rare appearance these days - sigh!)

The guys in your life don't have to be left out, either. They also have a line called RockBuds, featuring designs such as camo and nautical stars (Hmmm... maybe I need a pair of those too, since they match my purse!)
