Random Thoughts Tuesday

The guy next door is apparently building a new deck. I guess I should have guessed when I had someone do an early morning drop and run of some books for me yesterday (thank you!) and she told me that the guy asked her not to block the yard.... um... she parked on MY yard? She can park there as long as she wants! Apparently the truck was driving over our grass to get to his yard because there's a very large hedge along the road in between us. Meanwhile this morning we heard construction waaaay too early for my tastes. I tried to get DH to go out there and say something, but he hates confrontation. Hmph. Right now I'd like to take that nail gun I've been hearing for hours.....

We went to Albertsons to try to get away from the noise, only to end up with some awful beeping noise in the store. Sigh! Then not only are they all out of the toilet paper I would have had a killer deal on (wah!), the clerk screwed up my coupons so we lost $2. I know, you win some, you loose some - but it's the second time in less than a week it's happened at Albertsons, and that's $5 now - my milk and eggs for the week. I probably should have gone back.

My email box is ugly. I owe emails! (I'm working on it!)

I'm listening to The Smiths How Soon Is Now? right now.

I'm not doing too well on my ideas for organizing my spice cabinet. Every idea I come up with, I can't find the pieces to do it - so far I've tried Target and WalMart. I suppose I could buy something to put them on the counter, but I hate counter clutter.

We're done with the CSI NY marathon and onto The Closer season 1. One reaction sums it up *yawns* The kittens have been the best part.

I'm thinking a nap would be heavenly.
