Thrift Store Tuesday

Welcome to another week of resale and thrift store shopping!

My question this week: Do you brave the crowds of the large sales that some thrifts have for holidays?

While I believe Value Village has a 50% off sale for Memorial Day, I'd rather not fight for aisle space to maybe end up with one thing. I used to though, when it was just me - but the thrifts back home were a little cheaper to begin with, so I'd end up with several pieces of nice clothing for me for under $1 each.

So did you find anything good this week? We stopped into a resale shop and found these CDs for $1 each. DH likes Tori Amos, and didn't have these, so he was happy to find them. The Barry Manilow is for my mother, and if you follow me on Twitter and saw my post about the kids in the pizza parlor singing Rick Astley - we went next to this shop, and I saw this CD, and figured for $1, it was worth torturing my DH sometimes. ;)

To enter giveaways on Confessions of a Psychotic Housewife, you must be 18 years of age or older, and have a mailing address in the USA - unless the giveaway states it includes another country. Entries must be received by the end of the giveaway date stated in each individual giveaway.
Giveaway winners are chosen via random.org, and checked to see if they have followed the rules before being notified. Winners have 48 hours to respond to the winning notification. In the event a winner doesn't respond in the time frame allowed, a new winner will be chosen. Most items are fulfilled by the company sponsoring the giveaway, so I have no control over the shipping. If you win a giveaway and do not receive your prize, please let me know so I can follow up - however, I cannot be held responsible for prizes not received.
