Goodbye, Chase

I admit it, I hate banks. The thing is, I also hate cash, because if you loose it, you're stuck!

When Washington Mutual was bought out by Chase, I totally cringed. Yes, I do realize some folks bank with Chase and love it. Not me. All I've ever witnessed was slow deposits and bounced payments with friends and family because of them.

So I suppose it shouldn't have been a surprise to see DH's paycheck deposit from Tuesday still listed as pending when I checked a few minutes ago. Lovely, because I have a payment due Monday, and $50 of it is tied up in that pending deposit.

Toodles, Chase. I'm not sitting here waiting for our money for days.

Goodness me! I am so excited to see that I am not the only one that is very unhappy with WAMU changing over to Chase. We too have already had a "lost" deposit, slow to clear deposits, and etc. I am really tempted to move soon. Any suggestiosn?

I also agree! I totally CRINGED when Wamu was bought out because I LOVED WAMU!
However I don't have a checking account with them anymore, just a credit card, but since stupid Chae took over my interest rate has more than doubled! It went from 6% to over 13%!! And I didn't do anything to deserve, no late payments or anything. UGH! but at this point, where do you go?

We are leaving, too. I can't believe it. I had a WAMU account for something like 16 years. I don't even know where I am going to go...

I love my Chase. My local Chase promptly credits my deposits. I have however had issue when my ex-husband deposited checks to a WAMU in Chicago to my account. However, I am suspicious of the authenticity of his claims because he is a habitual liar.
