Review & Giveaway: Brez by Airway

I - well, my DH recently had the chance to try out Brez by AirWare.


Brez is a rather unique new over the counter way to combat snoring, or even regular nasal congestion. It fits into your nose, opening the nasal passages. It is latex and adhesive free, so those with latex allergies can still use it.

Putting it nicely, my DH snores so loud there are moments I'm totally tempted to cover him with a pillow! LOL So I was more than willing to put this to the test with him. Brez comes in three different sizes, and the medium was just the right size for him. It took him a few minutes the first time he tried it to insert it comfortably in his nose. It wasn't noticeable when it was in, either, so if you are wearing it for nasal congestion, it wouldn't draw attention if you went out in public.

He noticed right away that he was breathing clearer. During the night, I noticed that his snoring was lighter. It didn't cure it completely, but maybe it was the position he was sleeping in. The second night he tried the large size just in case he might have been using the wrong size, but he knew right away it wasn't the right size and switched back to the medium.

According to Brez, it doesn't help with sleep apnea, so if that's the cause of you or your spouse's snoring, Brez isn't for you. (But if you are trying to guess if a snoring problem is related to sleep apnea without consulting a doctor first, Brez might help you decide whether or not it's time to consult a doctor - if the snoring stops with Brez, you probably don't need a doctor to help you out)
