Piggy Paint's polishes are a mixture of water and other natural ingredients. Likewise, the Natural as Mud polish remover is made from natural ingredients with no acetone, is odorless, and also biodegradable.
Now Piggy Paint nail polish is geared towards little girls, but if you are pregnant or TTC and avoiding most cosmetics because of the chemicals, you may want to check out Piggy Paint too.
I decided to try it out on me first, since I'm one of those

The shade of Piggy Paint we tried out was the Tea Party for Two. It's a vibrant blue color, PERFECT for Summer fun! I've got to tell you that as a Mom, the colors they have in their Piggy Paint collection are just perfect. Hooker reds (LOL) are not available here- the colors are appropriate for little girls of any age. Pale pinks, funky yellow, shimmery silver, even gasp - black - Piggy Paints is after my own heart here! Here's what it looked like on my nails:
See, Moms can wear it too, and this color is totally adorable on little chubby piggies too!!!
Now I only used one coat to test it out, because let's face it, with the younger kids it's harder to get them to hold still. Piggy Paints, even with multiple coats, dry in about 60 seconds! I applied it on me and two minutes later I was back to doing things around the house, so you don't have to worry about toddlers smearing it all over your furniture when you're done.
So my family gives this product ten piggies up for it's adorableness and safeness. I'm looking forward to Piggy Paints' polishes hanging around my house for many years to come.
By the way, not only can you purchase single colors, you can also purchase three pack gift sets making Piggy Paints the perfect gift for the little Princess party or even holiday gifts. Piggy Paint offers free shipping on all orders over $25, and for my readers - you can receive 15% off anything on their website, including sale items! Simply enter code Ball15 L at checkout to receive it - good through July 31st, 2009!
