My question this week: Have you ever visited a thrift while on vacation?
I actually have once! LOL We were driving, and when we went past one I begged to stop. I can't remember what we bought, but I know we found something.
Here's DH's find of the week - he found them in a bag for $1.49 at Goodwill. Yes, he was too excited. Dork!

Oh yes, all the time. My ex-husband and I had a 3 bedroom trailer home near Wisconsin Dells that we used to go to for vacation. We often visited local thrift stores. We also refurbished the place with "better" used furniture from the thrifts. There was 1 chair that was such a favorite that when we sold the place we brought the chair back to Chicago. It was a nifty 50's style chair with very wide arm rests. Perfect for tv watching or curling up with a good book.
