My grand total was ELEVEN CENTS. Yep, $0.11! If only every shopping trip was that good. LOL (I got lucky and they gave me overage on the cleaning product apparently, I was expecting around $1, but makes up for the fact of how often they have overcharged me in recent weeks!)
And that totally makes up for being snubbed right before that at Lowe's. We were scoping out a new fridge because I am not sure this one is going to make it through the summer, and I ended up eyeballing a new dishwasher (ours is on the brink of death) and not one person asked if we needed any help. It was like we were totally invisible. I even spent about 15 minutes checking out cabinets (I hate mine with a passion!) and still, not one person asking if we needed help. Well, hmph!

Wow, great job. I'm excited when I spend $75 a week for DH and I.
But I have come to realize that as long as I am weekly buying 1 case of water and 2 cases of Bud (I don't drink and he brings a case to contribute at a weekly after work get together), it will never happen for us.
As for the snub, I'm sorry to hear that. We have had amazing luck with appliance purchases, but we purchase from a local appliance store that has treated us wonderfully (price match, same day delivery). Perhaps there is a similar store to HHGregg in your area?
However, I hate shopping at Frys Electronics. If it's something that I can grab off the shelf myself, it's usually in and out.
I know with our tattoos and piercings, we don't look like the traditional couple so it's as if the avoid us like we have the plague.
The average trip if we need help is over an hour, and that's when we already know what we want, we just need someone to get it from the backroom and walk it to the front of the store because they don't trust us.
Anyway, good luck on getting that new fridge.

Im sorry you got snubbed at Lowes. My hubby is a zone manager here at our local Lowes and they pride themselves on making sure customer service is number one. Be sure and call their complaint line and you'll get someone calling you back so you can tell them what happened.

Sorry you got snubbed but how in the world did you get coupons and stuff like you did. A blog column about that would be terrific.
