I Covet - The Kitty Edition

I think this would be adorable on one of our kitties! I'm wish listing this one for sure. This Zebra Velvet Heart Diamante Cat Collar can be found over at Cool Cat Collars.

I actually feel like a bit of a bad cat owner - only DH's cat wears a collar all the time (since she runs out the door and we have to grab her). I really should have them all wearing one, just in case anything would happen. The thing is, they rough house and get caught in them, and I'm always afraid one of them would choke if it wouldn't snap quick enough. Housekeeping Cat once got her paw caught under the collar she was wearing, and it didn't snap at all!

Only our oldest cat has an ID tag, too. I guess it's time to stop procrastinating and take care of this. I see a purple camouflage one that would be cute on The Muffin Man too on there!

I am not responsible if fellow cat lovers go crazy and purchase a bunch of collars, okay? lol

My cat use to wear a collar, hers broke a year or so ago and I haven't gotten a new one yet.

I think I'll have to take a look at these collars and fine one. The stores around me tend to cater to dogs so their cat selection stinks.

I'm usually a lurker, but I had this issue and found a great product to solve it.

Have you tried Break Away collars? They have them at PetsMart. I have them for all of my pets. I'm so scared they'll get caught in something and strangle themselves (I'm a worry wart pet momma :). ) They pop apart if they the cat or dog gets caught in something. They won't break apart if they just tug, but if they get caught and freak out, it will. And you won't have to buy a new collar, you just pop it back together.

I LOVE them. My adorable dummies have gotten hooked together via their ID tags and after a brief freak out, they popped right apart, annoyed but safe. I untangled the tgs, snagged each girl, and popped the collar righ back on. I highly recommend them.
