Review & Contest Spotlight: Carefree Ultra Protection Pantiliners

Mom Central recently asked me if I wanted to review Carefree's New Ultra Protection pantiliners, and participate in the Carefree Fresh Start Fund blog tour. Well, of course I would! Before I go into my review, let me share with you a little bit about the Carefree Fresh Start Fund:

Carefree is partnering with First30Days.com to help us women make a fresh start in our lives. On the Fresh Start website, you can find tips about making a fresh start in different areas of your life, such as career, style, and even in your relationships if you desire. You can also apply for funding - ten finalists will have their fresh start plan placed online for everyone to vote on. The top three vote getters will will receive $10,000, $5,000 and $3,000 respectively, as well as a personal consultation from Ariane and a three-day/two-night trip to New York City to be honored at the Carefree Fresh Start celebration event in partnership with Step Up Women’s Network, the national, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls. The other seven finalists will receive $1,000 as well. The deadline for submissions is July 10, 2009, so if you're interested, hurry to write your plan and get it submitted in time! (Boy, would I have loved to have one of these grants we moved out here to make a fresh start!)

Now, onto my review of Carefree Ultra Protection Pantiliners:


I usually use everyone's favorite frugal coupon deal brand (you know which one I am talking about, that we all have a nice supply of, thanks to those $1.00 off coupons! LOL) I cannot believe I am posting this picture (lol) but I wanted to show you the visiable difference between the brands:


See how much thicker they are? Carefree Ultra Protection Pantiliners also have wings, and they are thicker, making them perfect for lighter period days, as tampon back up, or even the days where you just need to wear a thicker liner. It's made with new Driflex core, and has two protective layers of super absorbent powder that is supposed to absorb thirty times it's own weight!

If you wear a thong style underwear, they don't wrap/fold along your thong like the other let's not name them brand, so keep this in mind. With other cotton underwear styles, it should stick very well.
