Random Tuesday Thoughts! YAY!

randomtuesday

I am so excited to be back into my blogging schedule with Random Tuesday Thoughts! (Who would have thought I'd get excited over normalcy? LOL)

I had nightmares last night though that we had decided to start re-packing the truck... I think it is going to take me a LONG time to recover from this.

Kitten is doing great. We're still calling her WalMart, though we did give her a more normal name - Mystery, after one of the black cats in Emily Strange's black cat posse, since we are at 4.5 black cats now (Housekeeping Cat is a black tabby) Really, I was hoping to get out of the monochromatic business with the next cat! I was begging for a orange one. Lin, if you ever tire of 47 pounds of stripey orange goodness, you know I'd gladly adopt him, right? :)

If you're wondering what the final straw was on my head where I went beyond psychotic: Sunday night I went to try to change our address online. I typed in the address my MIL gave me, half out of it, and didn't realize until I was too late that the post office site changed it to their official version of the mailing address. No biggie, except it was clear on the other side of town!! Now I know why all my cards I had mailed to his family was always late. GRRRR! (and not only was I charged $1 on my credit card for all that, we had to go in first thing yesterday morning and beg the post office to cancel the change out!)

I really need to grocery shop now! Luckily, I had not dumped my fridge out, but freezer is completely empty. :(

We were explaining to the neighbors that we had decided to stay last night. DH and him were talking jobs; the neighbor turned to me and said he had to ask exactly what it was that I did for a living, because he always sees that I have mail coming in, and UPS comes a lot. LOL Even though the sample world has been slow in recent months, isn't it great to open that mailbox and find something fun in there besides bills? :)

I'm thinking about painting the living room red, just to annoy my MIL. I'd email her pics... What do y'all think? ;)

(OK, that was really antagonistic of me. LOL I'll behave now!)

I'd go for the red paint if you like red! And emailing her a photo is just icing on the cake, but we all need some icing once in a while ;)

go for the the red!I have an accent wall in my livingroom red and I love it. It is like a blood red from a wound. OK sounds nasty but it is pretty!
So what did you tell the neighbor you did? Could be kind of fun to keep them guessing lol.
I agree that it is fun to go to the mail box and get some freebies. I never tire of that!

I'mm dying to have a red room one day. I've seen some in dining rooms and bedrooms and they were gorgeous! I know what you mean about e-mailing your MIL - lol.
I try to stay on a regular blogging schedule too, but it never seems to last long :)

Too funny that you keep having solid colored cats. I hope everything works out now and that you get your red room!

Very often, the highlight of my day is the mail! Isn't that sad? I LOVE GETTING MAIL!!

There, I said it.

My sister did her kitchen, breakfast nook and family room in a darker red color. It is beautiful.

I think red is an awesome color. Very bright & powerful! I think you could use a bit of empowerment right now. Although, you have already used some power to stay where you want & need to be.
