Review & Giveaway: YoBaby 3-in-1 Meals

I recently had the chance to review Stonyfield Farms new YoBaby 3-in-1 meals. I looked all over for these for about 6 weeks now - Fred Meyer's, Alberstons, Safeway... I was beginning to think by the time I'd find it, we'd be in kindergarten, LOL! It was becoming a crazy treasure hunt every time we'd go shopping. You want to know where I finally found them?

Grocery Outlet! Geesh! So I present to you the holy grail of kiddo food (drum roll, please):

LOL As you can see (I hope) it's a pears with green beans puree on the bottom.

Before I get into my thoughts, let me give you a little background on these new meals. YoBaby 3-in-1 meals are a 3-in-1 combination of protein-packed yogurt, fruit, veggie purée in one single serve 6-ounce cup. They're currently available in three flavor combinations: Pear & Green Bean, Peach & Squash, Apple & Sweet Potato.

So here's what I think: For convenience at home, and quick meals, this is a pretty nifty idea. You only have one container to open - and they're an easy open. I've struggled in the past opening some of the little jars, and these are a peel off lid just like the regular yogurt. However, they have to be refrigerated and have a much shorter shelf life - not so good for traveling convenience. Also, I thought there was very little green beans in the one we tried up above compared to the fruit and yogurt (there's just an ounce of veggies). I would have liked a bit more veggies in it. But again, popping a lid and having the three items ready to go was nice. I'm normally all for making my own baby food, but I think if you're doing the store bought version, at $1.29 suggested retail per cup, it's not a bad deal.

Win it! Stonyfield is letting me give away this little prize pack that includes coupons to try new 3-in-1 meals for free (I hope you have an easier time tracking them down than me!!), a bib, carry bag, and some other goodies. To enter, tell me which flavor you think your little one (or grand little one) would like the most. How's that for easy peasy? :)

I suspect that my grandson would like the apple and sweet potato best. Think I will look for these in the store for consideration, even if I do not win.

I think my kiddo would like apple and sweet potato...I'm going to start looking for these in the stores, my boy is 2, but loves yogurt and hates veggies, so I might be able to "trick" him into eating some this way!

Apples & Sweet Potatoes!

My children, ages 6, 6 and 5, are too old now. But the parents of the baby I am carrying (a surrogacy), this would be a nice gift for them. :)

Thank you. atraditionalsurro at comcast dot net
