Review & Giveaway: Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters

I recently received several packages of the Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters to review.

Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters are small, bite sized nibbles perfect for snacking on. They are like granola bars, but smaller portions for when you just want a little... or a lot. (who wants the evidence of several wrappers on top of the trash? LOL) They are available in Nut Lovers, Roasted Almond, Roasted Cashew and Honey Roasted Peanut. They come in a resealable bag, which I found really great. I like to just nibble here and there in the evenings when waiting for my DH to come home, and that's perfect! It almost reminds me of some of the healthy cereals, but of course, without the milk! (I loathe milk)

Here's what they look like:

The Roasted Cashew, up above, ended up being my favorite. The Roasted Almond came in a close second. I like salty, but I'm not always into chips, and both of those had just enough salt to cure my cravings. About 8 of these little clusters will bring you in the 150 calorie range - just about the borderline for a not too over the top snack. Be warned to have a drink with you when snacking on them, or you will probably get a little thirsty just like any granola snack.

If you'd like to give Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters a try, you can head over to coupons.com right now and print a $1 off coupon. They seem to run about $2.50 a package, so combine the coupon with a sale and snag yourself some to try out too.

Win it! Thanks to MyBlogSpark, one lucky reader will win a Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters "Snack Pack" prize pack that includes all four (4) varieties of the Granola Nut Clusters along with a sling backpack, stainless steel water bottle, flashlight and binoculars! (Will you try to spy on your neighbors like me? LOL) To enter, I'd like to know which flavor you look forward to trying AND if you'll be spending any time outdoors this fall season. Do you go on harvest rides? Pick pumpkins from a real pumpkin patch? Take a drive to see the changing colors of the leaves?

As always, you can receive extra entries for:
-Subscribing to my feed or following my blog
-Blogging about this giveaway with a link back
-Tweeting about this giveaway (leave the link or @psychotichouse me)
-Add my blog to your Technorati favs (leave your username)

That's five possible entries! Giveaway ends October 17th at 11:59 PM PST, and please leave your email address in your entry or have it available in your profile. US only, sorry :( Good luck everyone!! :)

The Nut Lovers.

We have a pretty nice corn maze nearby, last year it took me about two hours, but I got all the punches! There is also a fantastic haunted house that benefits the local volunteer fire department. Of course there is also the apple picking and house winterization. I haven't been out to specifically look at leaves in a while because it seems I always go where massive amounts of tourists are, but the drive to work is quickly becoming stunning!
