Review & Giveaway: WAT-AAH!

I'd like to start this post off with a big huge apology to the folks who make WAT-AAH! Not only was this package sent back after I tried to have it shipped to the Texas address (grrr!), but the delivery person then left it with the pile of EMPTY boxes on my porch that needed to be taken to the recycling center. Last week my DH was going through them to load, and brought the box in going Did you forget to unpack this one? Um, no. Geez! :(

I recently received a set of WAT-AAH! water drinks to review. (WAT-AAH! WAT-AAH! WAT-AAH! isn't that fun to say? LOL)


WAT-AAH! is a bottled water marketed to kids. (apparently, it also appeals to adults, because I kept having to slap my DH's hands away from the bottles. LOL) We all know it's hard to get kids to drink enough water and stay properly hydrated. WAT-AAH is trying to help with that by appealing to kids with a fun logo, and bright colors, as well as fun names: they come in "flavors" called Brain, Bones, Body, and Energy. It's Ultra Purified Water, with absolutely no sugar added.

The good thing about bottled water this fall is that it's germ free: with all the germs going around such as the H1N1 flu, you don't exactly want your kids to be drinking from a water fountain, right? Plus, being properly hydrated does help keep kids healthy! Of course, the bad thing is that the bottles are bad for the environment. Catch 22!

The bottle is a little different than regular bottled water - it's thinner, so kids' hands can hold it easier, and taller. It's a little much for younger kids, but school age kids will be fine. It's definitely a great alternative to letting kids drink soda and faux juices filled with sugar.

WAT-AAH! can be found in stores such as Whole Foods, and online via Amazon. A 12 pack runs $12 - about the same price as Vitamin Water and Propel on sale, so it's a decent price for this kind of bottled drink.
