I've mentioned many times that yogurt is an important part of my grocery list. I like to have one for breakfast. I've tried (and loved!) regular Yo-Plus (I reviewed it here), but this was my first foray into the new Yo-Plus Light.
Yo-Plus Light is pretty much the same as regular Yo-Plus, except it has less calories at an average of 70 calories per cup. It has the same amount of fiber to help out with your digestive system, as well as the usual friendly probotic cultures found in yogurts. I've always felt that if you are trying to watch your weight, or just stay healthy, yogurts are a good use of your caloric allowance every day.
I enjoyed both the Strawberry Banana, as well as the Key Lime Pie (yummy!) but I will admit I was a little so-so on the Honey Vanilla. My DH enjoyed it though, so it's probably more of a personal taste in yogurt as to which flavor will be your favorite. I admit I usually tend to stick with the Strawberry flavors the most when purchasing yogurt for myself.
Suggested retail price is $2.79 for a 4 cup package, but I've seen it on sale often for just $2.00. If you're interested, you can print a coupon to try new Yo-Plus Light and save $1.00 here. (It's a Bricks coupon) That would bring it down to about $0.25 a serving!
