I Am Thankful...
I know tomorrow is going to be dead in blogland, so I'm posting it today. I stole this idea from Lin over at Duck and Wheel With String - not that I'll even get close to 100 because I am LAZY. I heart her well written, beautiful blog, and her 47 pounds of stripey goodness too. ;) (If you have no idea what I am talking about, well, you'll just have to visit her blog then, won't you?) And yes, I sort of stole #1 from her.
1. Having my own washer and dryer, even if half the time one part or the other doesn't work. I no longer have to worry about germs from a public washer & dryer, or saying Hail Marys trying to come up with enough quarters so DH can have clean work clothes.
2. Having a roof, albeit leaky, roof over our heads. I have absolutely no desire to live in the car again if I can help it.
3. Mi familia. I love my little family!
4. Having a car - hey, it's mine, even if I don't drive it! - because nothing beats not having to walk to the store in torential downpours like we have out here in WA.
5. Sloppy furry kisses and wiggly corgi butts - after losing our beloved Pudgy Princess, I thought it might be a long time before we got that again. Now I'm blessed to get it from two of them!
6. The internet! Thanks to the internet, I've learned about so many great deals over the years. And these days, it enables me to be a better steward of our money.
7. and with the internet, comes this blog and all of YOU who read my blog! I'm thankful that I have this little corner of the internet to whine, share deals, and have a little bit of sorely needed adult conversation!
8. Dark Chocolate. Enough said, right ladies? ;)
9. Electricity. Don't laugh, but I'm super thankful to not be cooking dinner via candlelight. ;)
10. Libraries. How I love thee, my beautiful libraries filled with books galore and DVDs to keep my DH happy. Besides thrift shopping, you are my favorite place to waste the day away in!
11. Coupons! Maybe that goes along a bit with #6? Nah! I am thankful that companies give us coupons so I can shave our grocery bill in half.
12. Toilet Paper. Because leaves and the Sears catalog are not my idea of fun in the bathroom. ;)
13. A decently stocked pantry. I am thankful I have heeded what my heart was telling me and stocked up on several weeks of extra food, so I don't have to worry if something ever happens that our bank account is in the negative.
May each and everyone of my American friends have a Blessed Thanksgiving spent with those you love most (even if it's over the phone, or gee, even your favorite football team on the TV! LOL), and to all my internet friends around the world - may you have a safe, blessed day filled with joy and love!

LOL! Storm, thanks for the kind words! And yes--I LOVE having my own washer and dryer. It's funny how the everyday stuff in life can make or break your day. Just try going without for a day and you know it's not going to be a good one.
I like your list, especially the fur friends part! :) Can't imagine life without them!
Happy Thanksgiving, my friend. I am thankful for my blog pally. :)
Awesome post. It is good to think of the things that we often forget that are so important. We live in a world of want. I am thankful that I have what I need.
Peace.
