We went out to KFC with someone yesterday (not on my dime, at least) and it was overpriced, and just ugh. The employees were curt and needed some customer service lessons, and I could have made a much nicer meal myself for a lot cheaper. Coincidence or not, I was sick as a banshee yesterday afternoon and last night. (I guess KFC isn't going to come knocking on my blog's door anytime soon. lol)
So that's where I was.
And lucky me, I am one of those folks Citibank is slamming with a HUGE increase in the interest rate. 23.99% Um, Citibank, you can bite me. As soon as it's paid off, it's being officially closed. I've had that credit card since I was 18, and never been late with a payment. Thanks for helping out with vet bills over the years, and room rent north of the border, but no thanks. Anyone else get the notice and thinking that Citibank can rot?
We had removed the door to the laundry area due to the leak right above - I was afraid it was going to ruin the door. (It's really more of an alcove closet) Anyways, this morning we woke up to thumping noises, and a missing kitten. We have no idea were on earth the cat went, because DH couldn't find it behind there. We moved both pieces out and still no cat.
We tried opening a can of cat food, still no cat.
After wasting 3 hours, finally, cat.
*muttering* Rotten kitty! At least she's safe now.
So much for sleeping in. Drat!
As you can tell, the leaks are driving me even more insane.
So I will be trying to play catch up on here, as I have a wonderful review and giveaway post I really want to share with you today, and we'll be working on that turkey wurkey here in a little bit! (yummy!)

I agree that Citibank should suck it but unless you're paying an annual fee don't close the account, it'll hurt your credit score. Instead just pay it off and stick it in a drawer or something.
I'm unhappy with KFC as well... not only has their chicken gotten to the point that grease just drips off it.... remember back in the spring when Oprah did the free KFC grilled chicken meals... and KFC claimed they were running out of chicken??? They just didn't expect so many people to take advantage of it! And they stopped honoring the coupons and were supposed to send out rain checks for those who still had them. We turned ours in for the rain checks and haven't heard a word since. Not good business.... not good customer relations! Haven't been back to KFC since!
Sorry to hear about Citibank doing that to you... another company I can't stand.
Glad you found your kitty... lil rascal! And I hope you get those leaks fixed soon.
