I'm super behind in everything this week. Let's not get into the pile of laundry AND I did two big loads Saturday in amongst my kitchen horror show. I'm on load #3 already today.
After Halloween sales = more fun than shopping any other time of year.
It's in the lower 50s, and I have the kitchen window open.
I'm not too happy with Burger King. We had a coupon, so we figured we'd have a treat. We placed our order, and waited... and waited... and waited... while everyone after us was getting their food. It's not like we had a strange order either, just two Whoppers. Finally DH was annoyed and told them to just give him the money back. Not even an I'm sorry out of them, either. Customer service just seems to be going further and further down the drain because...
I had a nasty woman at Fred Meyer again too. The one time I use a regular cashier instead of self checkout (the clerk I always have coupon issues with was in charge of self checkout that day) and I get Mrs Cranky Pants who was unhappy I had my own shopping bags.
Seriously, I worked retail for years. I get that sometimes you have a cranky customer and it can ruin your day, but if you take it out on other customers, not only do you ruin the risk of taking it out on a secret shopper (well, maybe no one uses those these days?), but you run the risk of lots of complaints headed the service desk's way. Shrug it off and move on. Fake smiles aren't that hard! Be happy that in this lousy economy, you still have a job!
...I think DH tires of me saying if I was still in management, and I took over places, heads would roll. LOL
I'm super annoyed with all the spam direct messages in my email box the last few days from Twitter. I've actually been really lazy at using Twitter the last few weeks, oops. There's just not enough time in each day lately for me to me Mom & Wife, and visit everywhere. I try!
I'm starting to look for good deals on Toys for charity gift giving this year. last year we did 3, I'm hoping we can bump it up to 6. I scored one great deal this last week, so 5 more kids to make sure they get a little something for the holidays!

I really kind of want to do gifts for charity this year too, but since my kids have spent so much time at Children's we have kind of adopted them as our charity so we made them something for Halloween and are doing it again for Christmas and Thanksgiving.
