TV Review: Word Girl Holiday Episodes

A few weeks back, you'll remember my family was able to review the Word Girl Halloween special.


Now we were able to review one of the new holiday Word Girl episodes coming up! WORD UP!

There will be three new episodes premiering over this holiday season - the first aired November 23rd, featuring an episode called "Who Is Mrs. Question?", where kids learned the words Inquire and Hilarious.

We were able to review a copy of the shows that will be airing December 10th. They feature the segment "Oh, Holiday Cheese", where the evil Dr Two Brains tries to steal every one's cheese for his own holiday party. Singing carols about cheese? Does that sound like my cheese obsessed family or what? ;) (How we love cheeeese!) DH and I even learned a new word of our own in this episode - Curmudgeon.

As a Mom, I appreciate any show that helps with learning something new, and Word Girl definitely delivers while still being fun.

The next two holiday themed Word Girl shows will be airing December 10th (the one I reviewed up there!), and December 28th - be sure to check your local PBS station listings for what time they come on in your area if you have Word Girl fans at home too.
