Giveaway: Coleman Outdoors Gear Gift Card

I'm excited to share this giveaway with you, because I actually own a bunch of Coleman products in our camping/hiking and preparedness gear. I'm always on the hunt for vintage Coleman products when we thrift, because the old stuff, if taken good care of, lasts FOREVER. Trust me, my daddy was a Boy Scout leader, and put some of their products to the test back in the 70's and 80's, and he STILL has a lot of that gear! (Amazing, isn't it?)

Right now, Coleman has a great Twitter giveaway going on: Follow Coleman on Twitter, then tweet the answer to their question, "What would you buy this holiday season from Coleman.com and why?" Each day through January 13th, 2010, one lucky winner gets a $25 gift card to use on anything from Coleman.com!


Aaaannnd I get to give a $25 to Coleman to one of my readers too! You'll have to follow Coleman on Twitter (they'll verify that you are before they'll send out the gift card) but it only takes a few moments to sign up for Twitter if you haven't already... and a lot of bloggers give extra entries for following them or tweeting about their contest, so it's worth a few minutes of your time! (Plus, you can follow me and get the heads up on contests... or the weather in Washington LOL and other gossip, so you want to sign up, right? Pretty please?)

Aren't they cute? LOL For Christmas, I bought my DH a fishing pole and some lures (shouldn't every guy have a valid excuse to get out of the house? It's like shopping with us women!) and he wants to take the doggies with him - so these would be perfect! Now to just win the Twitter giveaway!

Even if you don't hike, camp, hunt, etc, a lot of their products can come in handy - the lanterns during power outages for example. They even have pet beds and stuff for tailgating!
