\Yo Gabba Gabba! Birthday Boogie! features four episodes with every one's favorite robot, monsters, and of course, DJ Lance Rock: "Birthday", "Dress Up", "Talent", and "Ride", all with our favorite "funky" feel. In the "Birthday" episode, Brobee thinks everyone has forgotten his birthday. He has no idea there's a surprise party on the horizon! In "Dress Up", everybody dresses up, in "Talent" - there's a Yo Gabba Talent Show, and in "Ride", everyone goes on different rides (with an underlying theme of wear your helmet, for sure).
See, that's why I love Yo Gabba Gabba! - it's full of silliness, but lots of hidden learning and good messages. And for my fellow 80's fans, "Talent" features Biz Markie - remember him? (Girl, you got what I neeeed! Now tell me that song and seriously crazy video is not in your head now. LOL)
Yo Gabba Gabba! Birthday Boogie! is full screen single disc DVD, and runs a total of 94 minutes long. There's no special features on this one, just the flat out four episodes. It hits the streets this Tuesday, February 2, 2010. It's great for the preschool crowd of course, over the age of 5 will probably scream it's too baby for them. I vote it as one of the DVDs I can't get tired of the munchkin watching - who doesn't love Brobee and DJ Lance Rock? ;) The suggested retail price is $16.99, but Amazon has it for $12.99 right now, while WalMart.com has it for just $10.86. (keep shipping costs in mind)
I received a copy of this DVD to write this review, but all opinions are mine. The links to Amazon and WalMart are for your shopping convenience because I love y'all, they are not affiliate links.

My daughter LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba! I can never figure out when it's on tv, so we always just borrow the DVDs from Netflix.
Thanks for being one of my top droppers for January!
