Let's Play Movie Trivia! (Redbox Giveaway!)

I love Redbox! It's nice to be able to rent a movie for just $1, with no membership needed. We don't usually need the movies we rent for more than one night, so it's a cheap date for us. ;) We actually just got around to renting Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, and I cannot wait to add it to our collection on Blu-Ray down the road. (It's been added to my overgrowing Amazon wishlist for those gift certificates as they come in! lol)


If you're unfamiliar with Redbox, they are DVD vending kiosks you can usually find in places like WalMart, Albertsons, McDonald's, etc (and of course, my Fred Meyer now! Woot!) For just $1 a night, you can rent a movie using your debit or credit card. You can even reserve a popular title online and then pick it up later in the day so you are sure you will have it to view for that get together or sleepover you might be having! It's not just new releases available - there are catalog titles and plenty of kids titles to keep everyone happy. (for more on Redbox, you can check out my previous post here)

Plus, now you can even buy used movies for $5-$7 through the kiosk too! Granted, I'm Mrs Cheapness when it comes to buying movies and usually score mine cheaper through thrifts and pawn stores, but it's nice to have it as an option if I want a movie right away.
