Random Thoughts Tuesday - *Yawns*

randomtuesday

I hate spammers. Really, you saved money with this very spammy named site? That's nice. Say hello to my little friend, the delete button. We're best buds for-ever and ever, aren't we delete button?

Elmo was taken hostage this week. Yep, adorable, fuzzy, red Elmo was tossed to the floor and swiped up in the blink of an eye by a furry monster of another red-ish color. Elmo has been drooled on, but looks OK. Poor Elmo, he didn't have a chance. (Barbie might not ever want to move in here, because something tells me the twin terrors will insure that she can never be identified by CSI by making sure they've chewed all her hands and feet off... LOL)

Booooo. Here it was so gosh darn nice yesterday, and today it looks like it's already dusk. I guess at least it's not pouring rain?

I hate the Albertsons over by Mile Hill. Every. single. time. I go there they either mess up my coupons, or give me an issue for them. Take this last time - I had a coupon for a free GM cereal (for a review), a 50 cent coupon for Jolly Time popcorn that was on sale for $1.00, and a doubler coupon to double the popcorn coupon. This should make everything free, right? The chick at the customer service desk was trying to tell me I owed $1.99 Say what??? I told her with my coupons everything should be free, she tries to tell me she can't take $6.00 off with the cereal coupon because the cereal was only $4 something. WELL, DUH, I KNOW THAT! It still covers the total amount of the cereal, so where's the $1.99 coming from? Then after she figures out she messed up, she doesn't even say she's sorry, but rather "thank you for telling me". Um... excuse me? That's my husband's hard earned $$$ your technically stealing? How about that I'm sorry?

Why do I torture myself going there? Oh, right, because it's close to Goodwill and I feel guilty asking DH to drive back over to the other one. Sigh!

The music from Star Trek where in the semi-beginning the cadets go into the bar? The duh duh duhduhduh part? Yeah, that's permanently in my head from DH watching that movie so many times.

I could seriously nap all the day. *yawns*

I thought I heard one of the corgis snoring, but it's a cat. lol Actually... I probably should go take advantage of these few moments of silence and close my eyes for a few minutes. You know, before the mini whirling tornado is back to full power mode. Or I could attempt a shower that lasts more than 2 minutes... what to do... what to do...

The nap wins. ;)

Oh, I do so love a nap. And I take one nearly every single day of my life--for under an hour. It is one of life's blessings and I'm taking full advantage of it. I tell everyone it just makes me a nicer person.

I'm with you on spammers. I've got a couple Chinese-writing ones that keep sending them over and over again to one particular post. I wonder if word verification will stop that. I hate putting blockers up for my readers because of some idiots.
