Not having a TV signal means we watch a lot of movies here, either from our own ever growing collection, rented, or borrowed! But for those of you who have cable - TCM's annual 31 Days of Oscar festival is upon us! Break out the popcorn and your beverages of choice, there's a ton of great movies airing back to back up until the Oscars themselves on March 7th!
What's totally cool this year, is that all the movies are scheduled in a format inspired by the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game – starting with Only When I Laugh and ending with Diner. Each movie is linked to the next movie in the lineup through a shared actor or actress! If you're home for Valentine's Day, that Sunday's line up features both Casablanca starting at 8PM, followed the The African Queen - both great movies!

It's times like this that I wish I still had Directv. I used to have Casablanca and African Queen on VHS, they are favs of mine, but they were damaged in a basement flood.
