DVD Review: iCarly: iFight Shelby Marx

My family and I recently received a copy of the latest DVD from the iCarly series - iCarly: iFight Shelby Marx.

iCarly: iFight Shelby Marx features two TV specials - the "iFight Shelby Marx" and "iDate A Bad Boy", as well as two bonus episodes, some extra bonus behind the scenes footage that iCarly fans will enjoy, and the pilot episode of Big Time Rush, a new Nickelodeon series.

In the "iFight Shelby Marx" episode, Carly takes on 15 year old fighting sensation Shelby Marx (Victoria Justice) in a promo match to bring attention to both girls. Thanks to Sam and her less than stellar ideas (*coughs*), it escalates out of control when Carly tackles Shelby's grandmother who is just out of the hospital - now Shelby REALLY wants a piece of Carly.

As with all the iCarly episodes, I always wish that Sam would be held accountable more for some of her actions, because I'm really not sure she sets the best example for young girls. (I really hope our daughter doesn't have friends like that down the road!) The episodes are funny as usual though, and Carly's brother Spencer's issues with his allergies on the title episode are down right hysterical at moments.

iCarly: iFight Shelby Marx hits the shelves Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 with a suggested retail price of $16.99. (Amazon has it right now for $15.99 as of this posting) The total running time is 139 minutes, including bonus features, and it's full screen edition. It is also rated PG, and more appropriate for the ages 8-9 and up crowd. (there is some suggesting humor in the title episode)

My daughter loves iCarly. Her whole room is iCarly. She is 8 years old and just loves iCarly. She would love this DVD. I think I might go get it for Easter to put in her Easter Basket as a special treat. Thanks for posting it. HAVE A HAPPY HAPPY DAY!!!
