Local Flavor: Rob's Fish & Chips

I like supporting local businesses. And obviously, we like good food. (lol) A few weeks back, we tried out Rob's Fish & Chips, here in Port Orchard. The parking lot is always full when we go by, so that seemed like a good sign.

It's a small restaurant, owned by a husband and wife team who are former missionaries. Of course, the speciality of the house is the fish & chips, which you can order in 1-3 piece baskets depending on how hungry you are, or you can choose from a pretty good array of other choices, including burgers, Reuben's, and salads.

DH ordered the two piece fish 'n chips:

I ordered the Rob's burger, which is a double patty:

(munchkin had a couple of fries, lol)

Both were absolutely yummy, the service wonderful. We definitely have a new local favorite to haunt!

For my local peeps, Rob's Fish & Chips is located over on 4292 SE Mile Hill Drive (over by QFC) and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 Am to 8 PM (they are closed for the blessed day of Sunday).

I wrote this post because I loved the food! No compensation was received for this post, and all purchases were out of my own pocket.

Those pictures are making me drool. I LOVE fish and chips; it is one of my all time favorite meals. At this moment, I feel that I could polish off the fish and then start working on the burger. YUM!! Can't you tell, I'm starving!
