Do you claim your thrift donations on your taxes?
We never bother, though I suppose we should.
I've poked my head in thrifts here and there over the last few weeks, but I have found much as of late. DH did find The Closer Season 3 on DVD for $5.99, and I found the ugliest pair of brand spanking new Lands End sheepskin lined slip on shoes for $4.99. I desperately needed something with a bit more support in the sole for when I am in the kitchen, especially baking, so these were perfect, even if they are an ugly brown that make my feet look like clown shoes. LOL Warm and cozy make up for it.
So have you found anything good recently?

Recent finds haven't been great but a couple weeks ago we found a Brooks Brothers button up for work on the dollar sale and an HD cord to hook the computer to the flat screen (The Husbands baby lol one of few luxeries) awhile back for a couple bucks.
Yes, we claim our donations to the Salvation Army and to the ARC.
We need all the deductions on our taxes we can get.
Yes we claim all of our donations. I donate stuff so often and large amounts to. WIth the kids growing and my bargain addiction lol I always have stuff to donate.
I have not had much luck lately when I havegone but have not really gone that much. Hmm think once in the last three weeks?
I've never claimed but I think we should too. I guess we're lazy like that. I think I finally got my niece Ani turned on to thrifting. We went last weekend and she found the 2 tops and a hoodie that she absolutely loved. I got myself a few regular work shirts that I needed so it was a success.
I always claim my donations. I've been going thrifting once a week for the past couple of months. Usually only go about once a month. I havnt been looking for clothes though. I've been hunting for home decor items. Today I bought a mirror and candle sconces.
I also "rescue" things out of the trash!
