Thrift Store Tuesday - Books

Welcome to another week of resale and thrift store shopping!

My question this week...

Are books a weakness for you at thrifts?

Definitely! I am trying to curb our buying of books because we just put together yet another new bookshelf! It feels like we're outdoing the library!

We actually had some good luck today thrifting. We hit a different Goodwill (over in Bremerton) and I totally had to behave myself because not only were their kiddo clothing prices cheaper, but they had a bunch of new stuff! I originally had like 6 pairs of brand new shoes in my hands! I ended up with this cute little pair for the park for $2.99:

I know, they look boy. But they have these great treads on them! We also hit up Value Village DH also scored a brand new copy of Napoleon Dynamite for $4.99, and there was a new little pair of cute slippers I picked up for the munchkin too with her initial (S) on them. Like they will ever be worn, but they were 99 cents. And at the pawn shop, we scored two movies for 99 cents each - Red Dawn and A Night At The Roxbury (LOL).

So have you found anything good recently?

What great deals! I have found that I am in lust with books from The Dollar Tree. I never find a book I want at Goodwill in the Puyallup area.
I did buy 2 Yankee candles at Goodwill yesterday. One was the small jar candle brand new for .99 cents in the CHristmas Cookie scent.
I also found a second Yankee candle for $1.99 in Autum Harvest in the meduim jar. I am a total Yankee Candle snob.

wait...are those adult shoes or kid shoes? From the photo they look like baby shoes. Or maybe I just have baby shoes on the brain. So are you in WA? Or is there another Bremerton out there? I'm in Olympia!!!
