Review: 1 Cute Pooch Retro Magnets

I'm kicking off my Mother's Day Gift Guide 2010 with a fun idea for the moms in your life who have a slightly different sense of humor... or snarky and sarcastic like me. ;)

1 Cute Pooch sounds like it only offers doggy related products, but guess again - they also have a Retro Humor section filled with retro towels, retro magnets, and retro decorative pillows, all featuring 1950's ads with a snarky saying added.

I was sent this I child-proofed my house but they still get in magnet to review - here's the photo from the website so you can see it clearly:

It's well made, and I totally cracked up at the saying! (I seriously think my MIL needs one like this, it seems like every time DH calls home, there's someone else's kid being babysat for there!) There's lots of other sayings available, and they are all split into different sections - so if you are looking for something a little bit more risque for a friend this Mother's Day or want to avoid that section, or looking for one about chocolate for a Mom who always seems to be watching what she's eating, you'll find that too. (C'mon: Coffee makes it possible to get out of bed. Chocolate makes it worthwhile! LOL!) At a retail of just $4 per magnet, 1 Cute Pooch's retro magnets make a good little gift.
