When the folks over at Playful Threads approached me and asked if I was interested in doing a review, I was super excited. Wearing a lot of skirts, I wear a lot of tights. You could say I have a fishnet addiction, because I have so many different colors and styles. Playful Threads has a ton of different styles of fishnet tights to choose from. (Tip: hesitant to wear fishnet out of the house but love the look? Or always get your fishnet stuck in boot zippers? Layer your tights! Wear your fishnets, then wear a solid color sheer tight over the fishnet - you'll have a fun new look) I spent an hour looking through all the fun sexy dresses, lingerie, rhinestone jewelry, before I finally deferred to letting my DH pick something out for me! (Or I would have been there for DAYS. I'm not kidding.)
Um, ladies, be warned, letting your DH pick what item you want to review from a site like Playful Threads can be a little dangerous. LOL! He ended up picking out the Nadia - Open Cup Bra Top with Chain and Thong - which I don't mind wearing, but there's no way on earth you're getting a photo of me wearing this for a review on here. I get enough naughty housewife searches as it is - and if I am taking the route, I'd want to get paid for the looky loos! LOL! ;) I almost ended up choosing the McKenna Star Print Bikini because it rocks, but he liked this better. Oh well. ;)
The shipping was super fast, and the packaging discreet. You can pick up your mail and no one would have any clue your DH didn't just order himself a car part or something from eBay. ;) You won't have to be embarrassed that your mail carrier saw what you just ordered, or that your pre-teen who is grabbing the mail will know. (Well, all bets are off if they open your mail for you, of course)
Now I'm used to shopping in stores that carry lingerie and clothing like this. I own more than my fair share of corsets, tights, etc, and I KNOW when something is going to fall apart the first time you wear it. I don't mean if it gets pulled off. ;) But I mean clasps, zippers, etc. The seams were well done on the Nadia, it has an easy slide back closure on the bra, and it even came with some replacement chains for the chain trim. The sizing is also true - this was something I was worried about, because I've bought pieces that say they are one size fits all, and sure it is - if you wear a size 2 and an A cup! It also has generous give in the elastic, and "moves" with you. It's not rigid vinyl, and it's not uncomfortable to wear. You can easily do a sexy striptease for your hubby or significant other in it. ;)
While searching through Playful Threads site, I noticed they weren't just limited to what some term "bedroom" or fantasy wear - they have a lot of clubwear, and clothing you can wear out, including some great dresses. And if you are on the hunt for plus size sexy clothing and lingerie, there is a lot to choose from on Playful Threads. We're not just talking one or two items here, they even have plus size fantasy costumes, which is a hard find. The prices aren't outrageous, either. (Who wants to pay $100+ for a plus size nun costume like on some sites?)

The only thing is I wish they carried shoes. I know *I* own 267 pairs of shoes that would match these outfits, but your average woman - unless they are like me - does not. The shoes really complete some of these playful costumes. I guess you could pull out any pair of black heels, but sometimes, the shoes make the whole fantasy. ;)
