Review: Baghaus.com Nila Anthony Glam Skull Bag

I've been on the hunt over the last few months for a new purse for me. I usually use my "everything under the kitchen sink Mom bag" these days, but I've been getting tired of digging for my stuff throughout the munchkin's stuff when we've gone certain places. I have a really nice purse (read: if the munchkin does anything to it, I will sob uncontrollably), and lots of well, cute fun purses, but I don't have anything in between. DH and I have a few outings planned over the summer that I really want to have something nicer for, but I want something that can still handle those dratted Cheerios that are everywhere these days. (lol)

When the opportunity arose to review a new handbag via Baghaus, I jumped for joy. I was absolutely amazed at how many different purses they had on their website - just about every style, from classic to trendy. They really have purses for everyone, and plenty in price ranges that most of us can afford without totally breaking the bank. That's the key - as with most women, I love expensive purses, but let's be honest, most of can't afford buying more than one or two in our lifetime.

I handed over my wishlist, and crossed my fingers to see which purse I would get to review. Obviously, my taste for day to day runs more towards trendy handbags. I'm totally excited to tell you I got my first choice.... *drumroll* the Nila Anthony Glam Skull Bag in black!

Baghaus's shipping was lightning fast - I had it in under a week. I mentioned up there that I do have one really nice purse... if you've ever purchased one of the more expensive handbags, you know that there is a lot of showmanship with your purchase when you get it. It's wrapped nicely, and it always comes with a protective bag cover for when it's not in use. I was not expecting to receive the same level of "oomph" with my Nila Anthony bag, so I was surprised when I did! It arrived with the protective cover and wrapped with tissue too! Two thumbs up right there! Here's the stock photo:

The Nila Anthony Glam Skull Bag retails for $57.00 at the moment over on Baghaus. It's made of vegan leather (I did not want real leather). Now I choose the black, but this particular purse is also available in brown. Here it is (and it was love at first sight!):

It has this KILLER studded skull on the front of the bag:

Totally me, right? ;) The skull is pretty heavy and well done. It's not a cheap metal that looks like it will crack easy. It has a zippered closure on the top, and there are several different zippered compartments inside:

I was able to easily fit everything I wanted for me in the purse, and even a spare diaper and wipes container. The handle fits easily over my shoulder, or I can carry it in my hands with no problem. I love the chains! The purse is well made, and I'm not worried it will fall apart easily on me.

Most importantly? I think my DH is thrilled I am done dragging him through the purses everywhere we go in search of a purse I like that doesn't scream "mom" and doesn't cost a fortune! ;) If you head on over to Baghaus's website right now, they have a contest up to win a free handbag - it's a quick and easy entry, and the bag you can win changes each week!

I received the purse above to write a review about. No other compensation was given.

I am SO insanely jealous that you got to review a purse! I'm a purse addict and I can never have too many. And yet I've never been pitched about reviewing a purse! hmmph. lol

That skull purse is AWESOME.

I had a bad time trying to return my broken bag. The customer rep was Devan Critchlow and she hassles you and makes it hard for you to return.
