Review: Frownies

Originally, this review was set to be part of my Mother's Day Gift Guide. I don't know about you, but if my husband gave me something to help out wrinkles for Mother's Day, my birthday, or any major holiday, the locks would be changed. I love my DH dearly, but Frownies are not something I want as a gift from my husband UNLESS I specifically ask for them. Something tells me most of you are the same way. ;)

Now that I've passed the mark of 30, I've begun to notice little things - the dreaded gray hair (that's what you get for not dying your hair often enough LOL), and the very fine lines beginning to form around my eyes - funny, that coincided with the munchkin... lol

Frownies are an alternative to overpriced $300+ creams and dangerous surgeries. The ingredients used include aloe, oats, cactus collagen, bear berries, lavender and rose essential oils, combined with antioxidant vitamins, and plant-based ingredients. Basically, you are using the Frownies pads while you sleep at night (the only problem with this is if you are embarrassed to use it in front of your husband - mine thought it was HILARIOUS, but we have a warped sense of humor around here if you didn't already know that lol)

They sent me over the Rose Water Hydrator Spray, Forehead & Between the Eyes Patch, and the Corner of Eyes & Mouth Patch.

I adore rose waters, and the Frownies version does not disappoint. You can even just use it as a toner or to refresh your skin, especially in the warmer weather we are beginning to have throughout the US. The patches are easy to use after you get the hang of them with the first couple of applications. You do need to follow the directions and be sure to use the patches every night, but don't go into using it thinking you'll see cosmetic surgery differences overnight. You will feel better using it right away though - even if it's just psychological, I definitely felt that. While the cost isn't dollar store prices, it's definitely on par with some drug stores brands, so Frownies are not a budget buster at all - the system is definitely affordable. If the patches aren't your thing, the Rose Water Hydrator Spray is definitely worth trying!

Two thumbs up to Frownies for making me feel like a pampered princess in amongst the insanity known as day to day life.

I received the products stated above to write a review. Keep in mind that it's only opinion, and my skin will/may differ from yours.
