Contest: Chicken Soup For the Pet Lovers Soul Summer BBQ Pet Photo

As you may remember, I've done a few things with Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul over the last few months. Well, the theme for July is BBQing With Pets! My DH always has his furry helpers when he fires up the BBQ:


(Excuse our dead grass from the heat) They always get first taste as you can probably guess. ;) My father in law is known for also sharing first taste with any of the cats in the neighborhood who decide to hang out in the yard for the day with him. I'm guessing we're probably not the only ones who have dogs and cats not wanting to budge from the BBQ area! Do you have photos? If not, I have a reason for you to. ;)

1. To enter, e-mail your photo of your cat or dog at your barbecue to casts44story@photos.flickr.com. Put the photo title in the subject line and the photo caption in the e-mail body.

2. Visit http://www.flickr.com/photos/chickensoupforthepetloverssoul/ and click on your photo to get the custom URL (the URL of the page that has only your photo on it).

3. Copy and paste the URL in the comments section of my blog post to enter the contest!

The winner will also get to have their picture posted on the Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul website, so your cat(s) or dog(s) will be famous! ;) One entry per family, US residents only (sorry). Giveaway ends August 14th, 2010 at 11:59 PST. I know that entering this contest is a little different than the way we usually do it around here, but this way we can make sure that every one who is entering really has uploaded a photo. (and it makes it super easy for your picture to go up on the Chicken Soup website!)
