Ok, how much do they let you type in here?
As an unmarried lady in a house I pretty much do all that I can before I have to pay someone else to do it. Oh, and my house is/was a fixer-upper. So I've taken a hammer to some awful accordian doors separating the kitchen from the living room. I ripped up ALL the old carpet (very loved on by dogs). That was probably the grossest thing ever because some spots still felt damp. I painted every room (except the garage), including the ceilings and accent walls! I installed knobs on the kitchen cabinets. Took out the ancient and caked in dust blinds and put in new blinds. Textured walls. Patched holes in walls. Replaced the outlet receptacles for the light switches, telephone plugs and wall outlets because the previous owner had painted over them.
Okay by now you have to be bored...suffice to say I know my way around a hammer, screwdriver and powertools. :)
