The thing with using the disposable, is that if you go too cheap - you know what I mean - the plates and cups can be rather flimsy. Your guests end up having double and triple up their plates so sauces don't go through, they don't bend and flap - well, you know what I mean, I'm sure. On top of it being bad for the environment again, because now they've used double or more, you also end up spending more in the long run. You might as well just go for the sturdy stuff to begin with!

I was hoping to include pictures of one of our picnics at a local park in here - some of you who read my blog daily may know I was super excited in finding a nice park close to home the other day - but that park just was shut down for swimming due to bacteria! Eeek! So we're waiting until it gets the all clear. There are other places we can take a picnic to, but this one was nice in that it also had BBQs. Sigh - Murphy's Law, it's the story of our life around here. When we move next, I'm making DH put a picnic table in!
