Did you get to hit up any of the Fourth of July sales going on at the many stores? I contemplated it for a split second, but decided against it.
I've been on the hunt for some new clothes for ME for a change, and I can't say I am having much luck. Apparently, women here in Washington don't seem to wear a lot of skirts - if I find them, they are older, floral patterns that all look the same after awhile, or basic black A-line - and there's only so many of those I need. And shirts? Don't even get me started! They are either cut so low I swear I need to wear pasties (haha!) or sleeveless, and this Mamma doesn't show that much skin for either of those styles. Why is it so hard to find near elbow length short sleeve shirts that aren't scoop cut?
Since we just had family photos done, I've been on the hunt for nice frames, and I found this one at Goodwill the other day:
It was $3.99, more than my frugal self wanted to pay, but as hard as it's been to find frames that look decent, I splurged.
Have you found anything good lately? With the yard sales in full swing, are you finding deals there?

Haven't really been looking, as we are saving up money to get a new windshield for the jeep. We have two cracks and they are too large for chip repair and also started at the bottom, which means soon we'll need to get a new one in.
So bargain hunting is on hold while savings are built up to take care of a soon to be needed expenditure.
I was so looking forward to garage sale season here in Oregon, but it has been so disappointing. Lots of sales, but all junk.
I haven't been to a thrift store in a while...I'm not on the rich side of town so the pickings aren't so great. I try to get to a few estate sales every month and usually go for cookbooks or other kitchen items for my best deals.
