Review & Giveaway: Macaroni Grill Frozen Entrées

MyBlogSpark recently contacted me about the new Macaroni Grill frozen entrées.


Macaroni Grill frozen entrées are quick and easy Italian style dinners for two. They contain not only the pasta, but the meats, and sauce, all in a frozen bag - all you have to do is heat them up on the stove for an easy dinner. They are available in Grilled Chicken Florentine, Basil Parmesan Chicken, Roasted Garlic Shrimp Scampi, and Spicy Italian Sausage Pomodoro varieties.


They sent me the Grilled Chicken Florentine to try out, along with a nice serving bowl and pasta utensil. I did need to add 1/3 cup of milk to the dish (for the sauce), but within 15 minutes, we had a nice dinner ready, and all I had to do was mix it a little once or twice.


The sauce was pretty flavorful, and it tasted pretty good. Now Grilled Chicken Florentine is pretty easy and not too expensive to make - well, for me, anyways, but I wouldn't mind purchasing a package on sale and with a coupon, and having it ready to go in my freezer for those moments where we are hungry but I'm too tired to think about really cooking. (That happens with the late hours we have dinner around here) One observation: if you have hungry husbands, make sure you have big salads and rolls to go along with it, or this won't be a big enough dinner.
