Meet My Hero

Craig Grant started out with one cat, and he now has 660 cats.

Yes, I said 660! That's not a typo. This man has saved countless kitties' lives, and even more touching?

He's built them all a village, complete with a little WalMart!

And here people think I overdo it. Who, me? Pffft! Seriously though, the little village is shelter for all the kitties, who live on 30 acres of paradise down in Florida. If you'd like to learn more about Craig and his Caboodle Ranch, you can check out this story that was just featured on him, and I hope you'll visit his website. Each cat costs about $550 a year to take care of - each one is spayed or neutered, and they are kept up to date on their vaccinations, as well as any other medical care they might need. (which I know how expensive that can get with just my zoo!) Helping to spread the word about Caboodle Ranch helps out, even if you can't afford to donate!

Seriously, you HAVE to go check out the photo gallery on Caboodle's website. It is AMAZING what this man has done! One day we will have our 30 acres, and we can go to town on rescuing! I'm not sure we'll end with as fun of a "town", but I think we'll have fun trying! Bring on the mayhem! ;)

I think this he (Craig) is just wonderful for taking in all these cats, which started as only 1 then grew to 5 then on to 11 and so on, Its amazing all the work he has done to keep this cat sanctuary going and most of it coming out of his pocket, the entire place is very neat and obviously well taken care of, wow is all I could say when I read his blog and seen the pictures of the many cats. I have 2 cats and that is plenty for me, couldn't imagine 660 cats, wow that's a lot of cats, at least they have a home for life. He is doing something truly worthwhile and will be rewarded for it at some point, karma is good sometimes and he deserves alot of good karma

Wow. I can't imagine all that work. I don't like doing the little box for just 2! The woods look like a great place for the kitties.
