Review: Farm Rich Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches

My family and I were recently invited to try out Farm Rich Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. We seem to snack a lot here - I blame it on DH's schedule, sometimes our meal times are so off, we have to snack or our tummy's grumble waiting for him - so I am always on the hunt for "snacks" that won't completely kill dinner, either. I like Farm Rich's products because many of the larger sizes come in resealable bags, so I can just make a handful for snacking while we wait for DH to come home.

Yikes! Two mini sandwiches from Farm Rich's Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches clock in at just 220 calories, allowing you to get the Philly Cheese steak taste without running a two hour marathon to burn off the calories consumed from it. ;)

I felt like I was in search of the Golden Ticket, because I could not find these at the local grocery stores. I finally found them clear up at the Super WalMart in Poulsbo - geez! They are super easy to make - just toss them in the oven (or I suppose you could use the microwave) and about 20 minutes later, you have snacking goodness to eat while watching the game or a movie, for kids to snack on while playing, etc:

The Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches were crispy, and were a pretty good snack. DH certainly was in heaven! At just $4.99 (on sale, I think) for the big bag, they were also a pretty good value - try walking into a restaurant and ordering a platter of appetizers at this price - it's not happening! Next time I'm near Poulsbo, I'll be braving the insanity of Super Walmart wandering in and picking up a couple of bags to keep in our deep freezer for last minute snacks and meals.
