Blog Tour Part Two: Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse

Last month, I mentioned that I would be participating in the Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse Challenge Blog Tour, thanks to Mom Central.

I've been using the new Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse for about three weeks now, and I wanted to share an update with you. In my last post, I mentioned I was worried that I would have a hard time following some of the direction on the bottle - you see, in order for the product to work properly, you cannot eat or drink ANYTHING for 30 minutes after you have used it. Do you know how long 30 minutes is when you're watching the clock? lol

I confess: I did have a super hard time hanging on for 30 minutes after using like I figured I would. Sometimes I'd make it, other times I wouldn't. Having to swoosh it around in my mouth for one minute was killer for me too. Yowser! Forget waterboarding, swoosh mouthwash that long when you have crappy lungs - it gives new meaning to the word torture! lol (I admit there was more than one time that I was muttering things about being a blogging guinea pig!)

I haven't been to the dentist since using Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse, so I can't comment on whether a dentist saw a difference in my teeth. I didn't see a difference in my teeth, looking at them in the mirror, but I did notice the difference on my teeth after using it - I don't want to call it a film, but my teeth felt different, if that makes sense to you. My mouth certainly felt cleaner, and I actually started to crave that feeling a little. Now the mouthwash doesn't really burn like some other brands of mouthwash since it is alcohol free, but again, it felt different. (if your gums bleed, etc - you might still feel some burning I would think?) I really hate saying this, but I think this is one of those products that your mileage may vary, and you really have to try it out yourself in order to judge. (Gosh, I really hate saying that too)

For those of you that are anti-fluoride - this product does contain fluoride, so keep that in mind if you decide to try it out.

The suggested retail price of Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse is $5.89 for a 1 litre bottle, but it's also available in a smaller bottle too for about a dollar less. I'm the only one who has been using the 1 litre bottle, and I still have plenty left, so you should be able to have a bottle last close to the two month mark for that price, depending on if you use it more or less. Keep your eyes peeled for coupons to match up with sales to get it for an even greater price!

I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Crest and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
