Giveaway: Yoplait Save Lids to Save Lives

As you probably know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Yoplait is once again helping to raise money for a cure by holding their annual Save Lids to Save Lives campaign. How do you participate? All you need to do is purchase Yoplait single serve yogurt products with the pink lid. Wipe off the yogurt, and set them aside to be mailed in, because for every lid sent back to Yoplait, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, with a total donation of up to $1.6 million and a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000!

I keep an envelope on my fridge this time of year, ready to place the lids in when I am eating the yogurt, so they are not only easy to find - but easy to get ready to drop in the mailbox! All lids need to be received by December 31st, 2010, so you have plenty of time to save a few lids. If you want to save on postage, perhaps you can co-ordinate collecting lids with friends and co-workers, and have one person mail a batch of lids in towards the end of the campaign?

If you head on over to Facebook.com/YoplaitPledge, you'll find some fun and easy tools to pass on. You can even share photos of your "lid stash", and maybe try to outdo others? Can you collect a lot?

Thanks to MyBlogSpark and Yoplait, I was given this nice Breast Cancer awareness gift set that included a journal, coupons, bracelet, and pen - as well as a $25 donation made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. My grandmother beat breast cancer, so this is a cause that is very important to me - I'm thrilled to have this donation made in my name! (Thank you, Yoplait and MyBlogSpark!)

Here's a 50¢ off printable coupon for Yoplait yogurt OR for Yoplait Frozen Smoothies. Hurry though, as there is usually a limited number of prints on these!

Win it! Want to win a little prize pack like mine? Thanks to Yoplait and MyBlogSpark, one lucky winner will win a Breast Cancer awareness prize pack that includes the goodies up there, as well as two free Yoplait Greek VIP coupons! To enter, feel free to share your stories of how breast cancer has affected your life. If you're uncomfortable with this (I understand), you can just tell us if you've saved lids in the past and if you will be this year.

As always, you can receive extra entries for:

One of my co-workers has terminal breast cancer (it's spread through to other organs). This is the closest I've ever been to anyone who has been affected by breast cancer.

Thankfully, breast cancer has not affected my life directly. I'm always worried that it will though because statistically, its only a matter of time before someone I know gets it. We need to spend whatever it takes to eradicate booby cancer once and for all! I love that Yoplait thinks the same way I do and donates to help.
